Bill Stanley is a lifelong Republican who is committed to preserving the bedrock conservative values that made our nation – and our Party – great. He strongly supports protecting innocent human life, our Constitutional rights including the 2nd Amendment, limited government, the free-market system, protecting our borders, and a foreign policy that relies on the time-tested wisdom of peace through strength.

With Democrats on the march in Washington and, now, Virginia, Bill Stanley will articulate our Republican message clearly and unapologetically. He’ll marshal his significant organizational skills to build our grassroots, assist our candidates, and beat the Democrats at the ballot box.

One of the crowning achievements of Bill’s career was his role as one of the attorneys in the matter of Paula Jones v. William Jefferson Clinton. By a 9-to-0 unanimous decision in that landmark case, the United States Supreme Court held that even the President of the United States is neither above the law nor immune from the legal system that affects us all.

Bill Stanley thrives on challenges, especially those where the odds seem stacked against him. Throughout his legal career and political activities, Bill has made a name for himself as one of the most articulate and skilled public speakers on behalf of our conservative beliefs.

As Chairman of the Franklin County Republican Party, Bill took membership and fundraising to record levels within a matter of months. His achievement was recognized at the 2008 Republican Advance, where the Franklin County Committee was named Fifth District Unit of the Year. Bill Stanley’s numerous contacts and Republican allies from all corners of Virginia will provide him with the base of support to do likewise for the Virginia GOP statewide.

A graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and the District of Columbia School of Law, Bill Stanley currently lives in Moneta in Franklin County and worships at Mount Ivy Christian Church.
